Opened in July of  2009, Ayaka is located in the heart of University of  Michigan’s campus. We offer a scenic view of South University street,  under a uniquely designed ceiling by PLY. We serve authentic Japanese kitchen food, including teriyaki, tempura, tonkatsu, udon and bento boxes. We serve over 60 different kinds of rolls. Our rolls are so unique and innovative we will have you coming back for more. Like our Dragon roll that you can enjoy with your eyes as well as your mouth.  How about our Volcano roll? A shrimp tempura roll, topped with spicy salmon is baked in the oven just before serving. To further enhance you Japanese food experience we serve complementary hot Sen-cha green tea.
